Wonderful World

We are WONDER WOMEN ... we wonder where we left the keys, we wonder how we put on weight, we wonder where our money went, we often wonder why we wonder. Most women forget everything that’s worth remembering but remember everything that’s best discarded. Women are a species that has taught “invention” to the world. The best woman ever invented is a “SALE” where you get everything you hardly need at the lowest possible price. The markets today thrive with malls, and all these malls are working only because women exist.

But, a MAN is a superman. He is always present when a beautiful young lady needs help, though he could be fired for reaching late at office third time in a row. They get so emotional, especially when the wife cancels her trip to somewhere. They are always severely sick when it’s their turn to take care of kids while the wife goes out. They are so brainy but, they forget tiny stuff like where they kept their keys, handkerchief, watch and wallet every time. They need to be reminded not to scratch their itches or put a finger in their nose when in public. They are so sensitive that the moment you call them dirty, they throw filth at you…!

But, women don’t have just one role in this wonderful world. She also plays other vital roles like a trouble solver, a peace maker and a counselor. Someone once asked a lady – “what do you do when you’re in trouble?” She said - "Whenever I have a problem, I just sing my favorite song & Voila, I realize that my voice is far worse than my problem!" Ask her about how the downfall of rupee has affected her and a sharp look comes across with a statement – “of course positively”. How? “Now the cosmetics, dresses, shoes & bags that I carry from India back to the States have a higher value” And she always has a take on everything in life. Like:

Politics: Yes Rahul Gandhi is so handsome.

Poverty: I feed the leftover to my domestic help!

Illiteracy: Everyone should donate books.

Unemployment: Sperm Donor is a profession with high returns.

Stock Market: Oh is there a new market in the town I don’t know of???

Cars: Oh I Love Chevrolet Polo and Hyundai Wagon R…

Wow, the woman of modern India. But, still, we are a male dominating country and hence men always walk a step ahead! They don’t have a take on anything in life but a say on everything in life. Like:

Politics: Gutter

Poverty: No one can help those buggers who don’t want to work.

Illiteracy: Schools anyways do not teach anything worth learning!

Unemployment: Beer…! Burp!

So, the world is a wonderful place with lovely species like men and women. We live in a funny world, only that the humor always comes by mocking at others. I often sit and stare at people, beautiful beings that God made with so much love and passion. Why do we discriminate between ourselves when the creator himself made us of same kind? Let us take out a little time and laugh at ourselves lightheartedly and praise the rest of the world wholeheartedly. Let’s leave the world a little better place than we found it. I hope men and women reading this would have a smile across their lips by now…!
