Christmas is round the corner and we would be welcoming a new year soon. A new year, a new day and a new beginning is what we are awaiting. Why does a new year come every year? Well, sounds funny, but isn't it true that although nothing much, except a calender date, changes ever year. We just train ourselves to write a new numerical at the end of the date! One more party to attend, one more new dress to wear and that's how most of us see a new year. After the 31st December is gone we all get back to our routines - same work, same office, same people, same attitudes, same responses, same anger, same fights and same frustrations. Nothing changes, the world seems to be just the same apart from the date.
So, let's make a difference this year. Let ME decide what I want to do! I want to fly a little higher, I want to run a little faster, I want to cry a little lesser and laugh more often, I want to say a lot of I am sorry's and thank you's and I love you's, I want to say NO aloud, I want to learn to live better, I want to be satisfied with my being, I WANT TO LIVE! I'm going to take a resolution of being just, simply ME.
I want to make sure I leave a mark behind when I am no more. I don't want to let people cry when I'm not there, in fact, I want them to remember me with a laugh, a cheer and a spark. Let them say I was crazy, I wouldn't mind it only if they would be happy thinking of me that way. I just want to make a difference to one more life, touch one more heart, do one more good thing and die a happy soul. Is it too much to ask for from myself?
Think about it - what am I here for? If I'm born lame, I live unchanged and I die fearful, why am I a human and not a lifeless being! Let's make ourselves priceless instead of worthless this new ear.
