No Questions Please

If you know the difference between the questions to answer and the questions to ask, you would save yourself from a little embarrassment & a lot of trouble.

Questions Questions Everywhere - The world is full of what to ask & what to say - the confusion lies between these two! As a kid, I remember one of my English teachers explaining interrogative sentences in a sexist way, the five wives and one husband theory! That meant who, when, what, why where  and  how, these were the basic forms of any question.

Most often we end up asking and answering rhetorical questions and ironically, we don't feel the need to avoid these.

"How are you?" is the most common question asked and the obvious answer is "Fine thank you and you?"

The problem with questions is we're all afraid of them. We fear being wrong while answering them and so, we tend to ask only those questions to which we have an answer. But, the treasure of questions lie in a child's brain - "Why & How" being the major ones.

People usually either ignore questions or give some random answers or worst yet, scare them off. But, why does a question really arise? Curiosity is the very nature of humans. Unless you are curious, you may not learn as much. No one can give you as much information as one's own ability to question. When I ask WHY, I seek answer more to my curiosity than to your fear.

As adults, we often tend to forget the importance of asking and that's how we land up in the world of "I know it all" and that's where we stop learning. It may also happen with many of us that we forget to ask right questions, instead of asking WHY/HOW this, we ask WHY ME?

Moreover. rather than understanding a situation, we run to save ourselves from an unknown fear and hence, unknowingly create a wall that doesn't allow the flow of learning and creativity to come in. And we become obsolete.

Let's start asking questions once again, let's become childish again, let's learn yet again & let's remember, because we are humans and not devices, we still have the ability to save ourselves from becoming obsolete.
